Plymouth Park UMC’s second annual Feed Our Neighbors, Feed the World event on May 7, 2017 was every bit as awesome as the one last year: Volunteers of all ages came together and, in less than two hours, packed 20,000 dehydrated rice and soy meals for Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now). The nonprofit organization is dedicated to fighting hunger and to addressing not just the im-mediate need but also the causes and effects hunger in areas around the world.
Have dinner with us… Community Cookout after Feed Our Neighbors, Feed the World on May 7, 2017
Help us to fight this growing epidemic by coming to Feed Our Neighbors, Feed the World on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. Our goal is to pack 20,000 meals and, to do so, we need your help. We will also have dinner with our neighbors immediately following the packing event.
Invite your friends and neighbors! This is a family-friendly event and the kids can participate. What a great service project to do together!
We also need volunteers to help with set up and to be hosts to our community at the dinner. We are so excited about this event and we hope to see you there.
