Going away to college is a very exciting time. But amidst all the excitement can be hard times: new friends, a new town, and tough classes. During October, the Youth Group will be collecting items for care packages for our away college students.

Students love to receive anything in the mail, but especially a care package that was put together to show how much that student is loved and missed by their church. We identified 25 college students living away from home in dorms or apartments.

You may drop your items off in the Youth Hall or in the office anytime during the month of October.

If you are the parent of an away college student, please make sure Peg has your student’s updated address.

Our Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 23-27 from 9am-12pm each day. We will be learning about Daniel’s courage in a foreign land and relying on God in tough times.

Come join us for crafts, recreation, snacks, and music while we learn important Bible lessons. Joplin, Missouri - Before and After

Calling all college students! Plymouth Park UMC is sending a team of college students on to Joplin, Missouri to help those devastated by the EF-5 tornado that stuck Joplin this past May. We are working with the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) to help the residents rebuild their homes and livelihoods.

This Mission Trip is scheduled to leave on Sunday, December 18 returning Friday, December 23. The cost for the trip is $150, with partial scholarships available.
