One of the most difficult challenges to individuals and families is coping with dementias like Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's Disease and dementia create stresses for families like no other crisis. As life expectancy and the incidence of dementias increase, more and more families must address the changes that will take place. Families and caregivers meet monthly, at 7:00 pm on the third Thursday of each month in room 108, and develop a support system that will help maintain their own health and wellbeing, and optimal care for the person with dementia. Led by Marty Graham, R.N., trained as an Alzheimer’s Association Support Group Facilitator, we have benefit of the many resources of the Alzheimer's Association. For more information email Marty Graham at m.s.graham@mindspring.com.
