Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends
This workshop will be offered at PPUMC this fall on Sunday afternoons beginning August 16 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. for 10 weeks. This is an intense workshop for persons who have recently experienced the loss of a relationship or who have experienced difficulty ‘moving on’ from a more distant loss. The focus is on healing and personal growth that leads to healthier relationships in the future. Cost of the workshop is $35 which covers a book, workbook and materials. Scholarships are available through Rev. Dana Norton.
If you have recently experienced divorce, in the process of a divorce, or considering divorce, this workshop is for you. If both parties to a divorce wish to attend this workshop, it is possible because of the small group format that will be utilized and each will be assigned a different small group. If both persons do plan to attend, please be aware that this workshop is NOT marital therapy. Rather it is about healing and moving on in healthy relationships.
This workshop utilizes a combination of group presentation and small group process. For this workshop to be as effective as it can possibly be, we need volunteers to assist with small groups. The ideal volunteer will have experience the loss of a significant relationship and have experienced a divorce recovery type workshop. Regardless, we need persons who presently have healthy boundaries and relationships.
To volunteer, email Rev. Dana Norton. Thank you.
