All women of PPUMC are welcome and needed here! You will find a place here to celebrate life, study the Word, live in the friendship of Christ and his disciples, serve his world, and make life long friends. One of our six circles is for you, or assist in forming a new circle to meet new interest.

Yearly Events

We come together each year for Spring and Christmas Luncheons featuring guest speakers addressing spiritual topics of interest to women. Our Winter Women’s Retreat is a time of worship, spiritual renewal and fellowship. Each Fall, we celebrate United Methodist Women Sunday when our mission is celebrated during worship by the church. All women are welcome to any and all yearly events.

Caring Hearts and Service
This is a developing group considering a wide range of service projects. Get in on the ground floor of this developing group. Employed, homemakers and retired women work together to match their time and abilities with the needs at Avante Rehab Center, Brighter Tomorrows, Irving Cares and Meals On Wheels. Meeing every other month for planning and fellowship beyond time in service together. Click here for schedule of upcoming service projects.

Gardening
This fun bunch meets for trips to see such things as the Gardens and Butterfly exhibit at the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens and the Dallas Arboretum's Dallas Blooms. Meetings are the second Monday of every month at noon to share experiences and explore the many gardening opportunities around us unless a special outing is planned. Watch the Preview on Sunday mornings for special outings.
And the Lord God planted a garden in Eden in the east:...Out of the ground the Lord God made to grwo every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food.

Faith, Hooks and Needles
A group with mixed sewing and crafting abilities who meet in a private home the second Saturday of every month at 2:00 p.m. Missional projects are also a part of the life of this group. We are a group of fun ladies of varied sewing interests and abilities who enjoy sharing and building our talents and friendships. We have also made and sent caps for newborns to Methodist Hospital, Dallas. We'd love for you to come and stitch with us!
Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Belles-Lettres
A reading group made up of women of diverse ages interested in reading and discussing selected books ranging from spiritual to best sellers. Meetings are the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

Celebration
Young women, single and married, who are celebrating life in their church community and building a closer relationship with each other. Meetings are the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Chrysalis
An energetic group of almost 30s, 30s, and beyond 30s who enjoy a variety of programs of special interest to members. Meetings are the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
A friend loves at all times.

Heartfriends
Women of 50s, etc., who celebrate God’s goodness in giving them these friends of the heart and who readily welcome new friends. Meetings are the third Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Wesleyan
A group of retired women, who enjoy a wide range of lively programs along with loving fellowship. Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.
