I would like
to extend to you my personal greetings and that of the congregation
of Plymouth Park United Methodist Church. We thank you for visiting
our Web site. I hope that you will browse through our Web site to
get a feel of the many ministries that occur here on Airport Freeway
(Highway 183).
Plymouth
Park has been serving the Irving community, the mid-cities, and
the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex for 50 years. This is a large church
that feels like a small church. Here you will find a church family
that is friendly and outgoing. We have Christian education classes,
service activities, and missional opportunities for all ages and
stages along the journey of faith. We take special pride in our
children, youth, and music ministries.
At
Plymouth Park, we understand our purpose as “To Know Christ
and to Make Christ Known.” To that end we strive to be a vibrant
expression of the body of Christ known as United Methodist through
relevant and exciting worship, both traditional and non-traditional,
a strong sense of community, and outreach ministries to the local
area and to the world. With all United Methodists, our hearts, our
minds, and our doors are open to all persons who wish for partners
on the journey of faith.
I
extend to you our invitation to come and see what is happening here,
and to be a part of a growing community of faith that is seeking,
in all aspects of our communal life, to “know Christ and make
Christ known.”
