**VBS Youth and Adult Orientation Wednesday!!**

Youth will have orientation at 5:30 pm just before the youth party and adults will meet at 6:30 pm. DINNER IS INCLUDED FOR ADULTS!! After orientation we will have our first VBS Work Night.

Sunday School

We continue our study of what it means to be the Body of Christ in Kid Kingdom and Club 345. This week, Kid Kingdom will be using food, and Club 345 will use science to understand our lesson. Thanks so much to Cindi for leading Sunday School Sunday.

VBS Registration Has Begun!

We need volunteers to help with registration on Sunday from 9:45am-11am (can be split into two shifts) and 12 noon until closing.

The dates for VBS are July 22-26 from 9am-12noon each day. We are still looking for a few good volunteers, so contact Cori Bell to help.

Adult orientation and our first work night will be on May 22 from 6:30-8:30pm. Dinner will be provided.

• Sturdy boxes of all shapes and sizes
• 4 Paint buckets
• Large stuffed koala
• Mega Size world map
• Plain large paper sacks (20)

American Girl Club

The American Girl Book Club will be June 13, June 27, July 18, August 1, and August 15. The first book in the series is called Caroline. The book is about a girl in the War of 1812. Cori Bell has a few books to lend if you need one. The rest of the books are: Cecile and Marie-Grace, A Smart Girl’s Guide to Manners, Friends: Making Them and Keeping Them, and Stand Up For Yourself and Others (the books are all published by the American Girl company). The meetings are held in the Youth Hall from 6:30-8pm. Registration forms are available HERE  or from Cori Bell. The ages are kindergarten -5th grade and the girls must be able to read or be read to, and they should be mature enough to take part in discussions and activities. Lego Club

We will once again have American Robotics come and lead Lego Robotics activities. Registration forms are available HERE or from Cori Bell. The meetings are scheduled for June 20, July 11, July 25, August 8, and August 22 from 6:30-8pm in the Youth Hall. The ages are kindergarten-5th grade, but the child must be mature enough to participate in group activities. CLICK HERE to download a registration form from our website.

Music Camp

We will have music camp on Wednesdays, June 12, 19, 26 from 6:30-8pm with a concert on June 26 at 7:30pm. The ages are Pre-K through 5th grades. PPUMC Children's Ministries invites all children to step right up at EVERYWHERE FUN FAIR: WHERE GOD'S WORLD COMES TOGETHER Vacation Bible School. Explore and experience God's welcoming love at VBS! The fun begins July 22 and ends July 26 from 9 am-12 noon each day.

The adventures include interactive Bible fun and great music, super science, cool crafts, hands-on mission work, global games and more. Be a part of all the excitement at EVERYWHERE FUN FAIR.

Kid’s Club

The menu this week is Chicken Enchiladas, Rice and Toss Salad, with Birthday Cake. This will be the last Kid's Club until September 4.

All of the children's choirs will have an end-of-the-year party.

The fun begins July 22 and ends July 26 from 9am-12noon each day.

The adventures include interactive Bible fun and great music, super science, cool crafts, hands-on mission work, global games, and more. To be a part of all the excitement at Everywhere Fun Fair registration will begin on May 12, 2013 in the Ministries Center.

Registration Information

Our VBS theme this year is Babylon: Daniel’s Courage in Captivity and we need your help with decorating items. We are collecting baskets (all sizes), fringe woven blankets and rugs, boxes, and greenery (fake and real). You can bring them to Cori Bell’s office before July 15. Remember to label them if you want them back.

The dates for VBS are July 23-27 from 9am-12pm each day. You can register in the Ministries Center every Sunday or you can find the registration forms here. See you there!

Do you have a Wednesday night to help get ready for Vacation Bible School? At 6:30 every Wednesday evening until July 18 we will gather and work on projects for VBS as well as July 21 and 22. Volunteers are welcome for one night or for all the work nights.

Please come when you can.
