The Missions Team has been busy for several months. They are now working extended hours and need your help. There are many opportunities for you to join in and help this make this another record-setting year. Please consider donating a few hours to help.

Drop off and working opportunities are:

Sunday, July 31 Last morning curbside drop off service for your discarded treasures. Look for the bins outside the Activity Room on the east parking lot.

Last drop off date is August 1.

August 1, 2, and 3 daily work sessions. Work times are 9am to Noon, 1 to 4:30 pm and 6 to 9pm daily.

Wednesday, August 3 - Congregational Preview on Wednesday Evening. Come eat a wonderful dinner and get the first look at all the treasures.

Adults: Meal - $6.00 Adult Sale - $3.00 Adult Combo ticket - $8.00

Kids 10 & under: Meal - $3.00 Sale - $1.00

Family Combo: $25.00

Flyers for you to post in your place of business are available in the Ministries Center. Help spread the word to your family and friends by word of mouth. Workers are needed from 7:45 am to 6:00 pm each day.

Your support of and help with this massive undertaking is greatly appreciated and is vital to its success. Remember, Missions is not a line-item in the United Methodist Church budget. The annual garage sale is our church's primary funding source for missions activities throughout the year.

The Plymouth Park garage sale is open the the public and all people in the following communities in and around Irving, TX: Grand Prairie, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Grand Prairie, Farmers Branch, Highland Park, University Park, Las Colinas, Valley Ranch, Coppell, Carrollton, Grapevine, Keller and Southlake!

Weekly Thursday night work sessions have begun for the PPUMC Missions Team garage sale. These are busy but fun evenings - while a team is out picking up donated items, volunteers at the church are busy sorting items dropped off during the week and storing them for the sale. They need all the help that they can get. If you are available on Thursday evenings, please consider donating a few hours, as the Missions Team needs you. The Missions Team has been busy for several months picking up your discarded treasures and storing them off-site, but now it is time to step up the pace. There are many opportunities for you to join in and help this make this another record-setting year.

Please mark you calendar with these important dates and opportunities to help:

• Each Sunday morning there is curbside drop off service for your discarded treasures. Look for the bins outside the Activity Room on the east parking lot.
• Monday - Thursday you may drop off items in the Activity Room during office hours. Please place items in the designated drop-off zone only.
• Each Thursday (6:00 p.m.) weekly Thursday night work sessions begin.

Wednesday, August 3 - Brisket and Chicken dinner at 6:00 pm. Adult meal - $6, Children meal - $3, Family meal - $25. Congregational Sale starts at 7:00 pm. Adult shopping charge - $8 and Children $1. Combo tickets available.

Public Garage Sale Times

Public Garage Sale times are: Thursday, August 4, and Friday, August 5, from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm and Saturday, August 6, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
