Great Days of Service can still use prayers, volunteers and donations

The Missions Committee and Great Days of Service appreciated your donations for home repairs. Your Missions Committee and Bill La Barr urge you to be involved in the GDS. The dates of service are March 18-19 and March 25-26. Call Andy Schellenberg, 972-313-0058 to volunteer and for details.

GDS needs volunteers to make repairs on 26 homes and clean up yards. Also volunteers are needed to prepare and deliver lunches to the workers. GDS needs volunteers to help with administration at the headquarters on work days. GDS need your prayers too.

GDS invites volunteers and homeowners to the prayer breakfast on Saturday, March 18 from 7:00 am to 8:00 am. Also to the celebration on Sunday, March 27 at 2:00 pm. Both events are at the host church and headquarters, First UMC, 211 W 3rd St, Irving 972-253-3531. GDS hotline is 972-510-5084 and website is http://gdsirving.org and gdsirving@yahoo.com. Together we help our neighbors and improve our community.
